Transportation in Japan🚃

When you visit Japan, mainly big cities such as Tokyo and Osaka, your main transportation would be train incl. subway🚃💨
Of course we have public bus and taxi (incl. Uber), but I would like you to experience Japanese train, because I’m pretty sure that our train system is the most amazing in the world😎✨✨ You can’t imagine how well-organized it is…

1️⃣ Always on time🕐
Every Japanese train company has the exact schedules in the seconds.. not minutes! If train is late even 1min because of rush hour or any other reasons, you will hear the train announce of sincere apology🙇3d02dfb39dd676ef289db60cb86ba349_l.jpg

2️⃣ Amazingly clean✨
I know some of our trains/stations are old.. but you can’t imagine how clean they are, especially with comparison to the subway in Manhattan😂 No trashes in trains, comfortable seats like sofa in trains, and decent and clean restrooms at almost all stations..🚻✨85dc0d75b7bcd0cef23d4916593df1a5_l.jpg

3️⃣ Convenient to use – “SUICA card”💳
“SUICA card”is a pre-paid e-money card (a kind of debit card) for public transportation and shopping everywhere👛 The initial deposit fee is 500yen (which will return after your use) and it is rechargeable! You just swipe this card over the front of the gate when you enter and exit the area leading to the train tracks, and it will save you a lot of time because the train fee is deducted automatically⌚️✨ In Tokyo we have PASMO card as well as SUICA card, while in Osaka people use ICOCA cards. You can get either of these cards easily at a vending machine at train stations, with the instructions in English!✨✨
For detail information such as how to get Suica card and how to use it, please check out the official website!c9e3b93a363cedd3b14623190c328b7d_l.jpg

Not only for tourists, but also for local people in big cities such as Tokyo and Osaka, main transportation is train (incl. subway)🚃; people usually don’t use a car for their commute. So for us, maintaining good train services are necessary for our comfortable living💕

One hard thing might be its complexity😱💦 Almost all stations have subway maps in English (and maybe in other languages), but you might lose your way even with your map🗺.. Please use Google map to find your way if possible, or ask people by using the Japanese phrases below!!!d0426de67a312f7ec10252989a41e8f9_l.jpg
